Description of Project: Reorganized space, incorporating an unused sitting area, updated materials and a refreshing color scheme transformed this 1960's Northwood Hills kitchen into a more exciting and useful space. Looking to re-energize and improve their kitchen the owners and interior designer chose a three material (glass, copper and stone) mosaic tile backsplash to compliment the Santa Cecilia granite countertops and antiqued burlap to accent the decorative vent hood. The walk-in bar features a skipped-troweled barrel vaulted ceiling for a little old world charm. A professional style range and other update stainless steel appliances bring the kitchen into the twenty-first century while recessed halogen lighting optimized the appearance of the finished materials.
